Types:

Coal Gas Separators

Petrofam is the industry leader in the design and manufacture of separators designed specifically for producing gas from coal seams. Coal gas wells typically produce large volumes of water and often coal fines which require different treatment from conventional wells.

Horizontal Separators

Petrofam horizontal separators are available in a wide variety of configurations. Designed for 2 and 3 phase separation, our horizontal separators have been designed to meet the efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Scrubbers

Petrofam scrubbers are used to separate gas from total liquid, which means that it is always 2-phase.

Slug Receivers

Petrofam manufactures a wide range of slug receivers to meet the varying needs of today's oil and gas producers. From small, underground units to complex units with attached launchers and receivers, Petrofam has the capabilities to meet all end user specifications.

Vertical Separators

Petrofam manufactures a wide range of vertical separators and scrubbers. Vertical separators are best suited for low to intermediate gas-oil ratio wellstreams, or wells that produce sand, coal fines, or other sediment. Depending on the removal efficiency required we offer a variety of internals or combination of internals to meet the vapor or liquid product specifications such as:

• Various wire mesh mist eliminator styles.
• Vane packs.
• Cyclonic internals.
• Liquid coalescing sections.
• High efficiency coalescing filter elements.
• Adjustable weirs.

Separator sizes range from 12” (305 mm) diameter to a size / weight that is limited only by transportation restrictions.
